Last night I watched part of a program on Discovery channel called Frozen Planet ….in springtime the male polar bear goes in search for a female partner to mate with …..as I was watching I noticed when he found the tracks in the snow and scent of a female that he was drawn to… he immediately started walking in her footprints ….i also noticed he was so precise in matching step by step …..then the commentator said the male polar bear does this to preserve his energy so when he meets up with the female he can pursue her …..so as my wandering mind thinks today on my walk ….. wondered maybe I can learn from this….as I am looking to attract my life partner ….. I do not need to do the pursuing or the initiating in the dating field ….maybe by just walking ahead …..a male will see something in me he likes and will pursue me …. Maybe …..who knows….suew
ReplyDeleteThe Discovery Channel is a wonderful source for Wildlife Education isn't it? I hope you find your life partner walking in your steps as the Male Polar Bear does with the female. I hope once he catches up you walk along side each other for life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this interesting information on the Mating Dance of the Polar Bears.
