Eagle Snatches Baby in a Park

The photo that went viral on the eagle snatching the baby from a park was in fact a hoax my graphic arts students. It was actually created by graphic technology and used a trained eagle and a doll. The eagle image went viral in less than 24 hours.

To date it has more than 5 million hits on the internet. The students will have promising careers, as they have already been offered prestigious jobs.

The Session: With so much high tech digital equipment now, we need to be leery of accepting everything we see on the internet. When people see an unlikely or outrageous image... one needs to question... is this for real or a digitally created image??.

These are in fact real raptors photographed under real life circumstances.

As a Wildlife Photographer I also offer Birds of Prey and Wildlife Photography Workshop Sessions. These animals are amazing Wildlife Ambassadors (models so to speak) and we photograph under controlled conditions in 'natural' outdoor settins. The wildlife used are well cared for at reputable Rehabilitation Centres and Breeding Centres. They are used to educate the public and prevent complete extinction of wildlife species.
